Analyses on hydrogeological conditions for the development of coalbed methane in Hegang coal field

Hegang coal field is characterised by its numerous coal seams,thick depths and large potential for coalbed methane(CBM)development.By study of the regional hydrogeological conditions and its dynamic,the author thinks that hydrogeological conditions of coal measures is complex with the enough supply of water and the active flow,which effects the CBM production rate.On the other hand,the occurrence of underground water is useful for the drainage of CBM well.
