PRESENT SITUATION OF COAL RESOURCE IN CHINA AND ITS RATIONAL EXPLOITATION AND UTILIZATION

Based on the third nation-wide prospect investigation on coal resources and the statistical results, the distribution, exploration and research degree, present situation of production and exploitation, and prospect of development and utilization of coal resources in our country are examined comprehensively and systema-tically. T he beneficial discussions are conducted on the rational exploitationand rtilization, formulation of energy policy, layout of coal geologic exploration, coal industry construction and production, protection of the ecologic environment in minintg district, in order to promote the continuous and coordinate development among the resource development, environmental protection and economic growth.
