Discussion on division of Cambrian and Ordovician strata on well drilling in Beijing plain area

Because of the difficulties in the division of strata on plug drilling, this paper based on the analysis of characteristics of profile symbol of the Cambrian and Ordovician in Beijing plain area identified the delaminating features of the rock stratum units, introduced the basic requirements of geological record of cuttings, analyzed the geophysical characteristics of geo-physical logging of rock stratums units.Finally, it is indicated that the technique of cuttings' geological record with geophysical logging can solve strata division in plain area.
