RESEARCH ON CHARACTERISTICS OF OVERTHRUST GEOCHEMISTRY OF COALFIELDS

Migration and accumulation of chemical elements may be as a showing of nature of fault movement.According to study on changing law of elements and geochemical actions in a fault zone,evidence to determine character of the fault movement might be gotten.The author has studied the geochemical characteristics of the fault zones of overthrusts in areas of Huainai and Huaibei of Anhui province and shown the fact that elements(such as Si,Mg,Al,Ca,etc) with less ion radii and larger specific gravity accumulated in pressure or pressure-shear fault zones and elements(such as K,Na,Fe,etc) with larger ion radii and less specific gravity escaped from the zones.The geochemical actions in the movement process of the fault zones has also been studied in the paper.
