EXPLORATION OF WATER INVASION ZONE IN FEICHEN COAL MINE USING REMOTE SENSING

  • Five NS Sub-parallel structural bends with same space were fond based on systematic interpretation of TM images in Fei-Chen coalfield.Serious water inrush happened in three mines of the east area during the mining of 9th and 10th coal seam.Inrush records and the outflow tests indicate that water-yielding zones often locate close to NS,NNE,and NW trending faults,or near its intersection with the others.The geologic structure in the west area is more complicaated,and the water yield zone of the west three mines was mapped as well as some measures suggested to avoid water hazards.
