RECENT ADVANCES IN COAL & ORGANIC PETROLOGY——THE 44TH ICCP MEETING

The auther attended the 44th ICCP Meeting held in Penn State University in July 1992.As a result of the review of these meetings and scientific visiting activities after meetings,some recent advances in coal and organic petrology are presented here,as coal classification,new macerals,suppression of vitrinite reflectance,maturity,basin analysis and estimation,and the reactive inertinite with respect to its response in converting processes.
