PREDICTION OF STRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT DEGREE BY DIP VARIATION COEFFICIENT

  • In Furong Coal Mine, the unmined sections were divided into four categories of structure complexity on the basis of the calculated dip variation coefficient "R" of the seam floor so as to find out the differences of faulting structure in various sections. Also, could be deducted the strike of the main faulting structures in unmined areas from the direction of R contours.
