Relationship between microlithotype and cleat distribution in coal bed

The relationship between microlithotype and the distribution of cleat in coal bed is discussed through a case from Hedong coalfield,combining microstratigraphy and statistics methods.The result shows that the cleat density in coal bed varies in different microlithotype,and the occurrence of cleat is relevant to the grouping sequence of microlithotypes.It is significant to prediction of coalbed permeability and resource evaluation of coalbed methane.
