  • In this paper the concept of wavelet transform is introduced and both the scale function and the wavelet function are obtained with the second-order B-spline function as the wavelet basis.It is tested on actual data that wavelet transform can obtain the seismic profiles of different band and improve the resolution of data after considering the characters of seismic signal in both time domain and frequency domain.
