Analysis of Permian sedimentary environment and regularities of coal accumulation, Huaibei coal field, Anhui Province

By the means of the principle and the method of the sedimentology and coal geology, and based on the detailed coring data analysis, this paper focused on the sedimentary environment, sedimentary character, sedimentary sequence, and the regularities of Permian age coal accumulation in Huaibei coalfield. The study shows that the delta depositional system is well developed in the study area, and the abandoned stage of the delta sedimentary system is the best time for coal accumulation, and the delta plain is the best place for coal accumulation.
