WATER RESISTANCE AND ITS RELATIONSHIP WITH STRUCTURE COMPONENTS AND CONFIGURATION OF ROCKS

Based on the results of lab hydraulic fracturing tests and from analyses of changes of stress intensity factor in cracks,the paper studied the resistance against hydraulic fracturing of rocks with different structure components,and analysed the influence of lithology and interface on the extension of hydraulically-induced fractures,proposed the possible approach to resist the extension of hydraulically-induced fractures and the favorite rocks configuration for prevention of hydraulic water rise along fractures.
