THE SEQUENCE STRATIGRAPHIC ANALYSIS OF COAL-BEARING STRATA IN NON-MARINE FORELAND BASN——IN CASE OF JURASSIC SECTION OF DAMEIGOU, QAIDAMBASIN

Based on the study of the Jurassic section of Dameigou in norheastem margin of Qaidam Basin,some problems such as the controling factors of sequence fomation,the change of lake level and the division of the system tracts in non marine foreland basin are discussed.Three tectono-sequences and seven 3th-sequences are divided in the Lower and Middle Jurassic of this area.It is pointed out that a certain of relationship is existed between the coal seams and the system tracts in temporal order and spatial disposition.This study is contributed to the prediction of the resource distrbution.
