Exploration logging-constrained inversion technique predicting coal-thickness

  • logging data,in combination with 3D seismic data body and its interpretation result,was applied to make impedance inversion under constraint of multi-well(logging curve inversion in combination of sparse pulse inversion with seismic constraint).Distribution law of the coal seam thickness for 3D seismic survey area is obtained finally by determining the wave impedance layer corresponding to the coal seam with horizon labeling,and fitting and matching of the thickness of the wave impedance extracted with the thickness of the coal seam at the point meeting the coal for the borehole.
