The pore characteristics and their influencing factors of Upper Jurassic in the southeast rise in Songliao Basin

  • It is studied that the growth characteristics of pores in petroclastic rocks of Upper Jurassic in the southeast rise in Songliao Basin through observing cores and thin sections, using scanning electron microscope, cathodoluminescence, X-diffraction and reservoir properties analysis. It is indicated that reservoirs in this area had pool porosity and permeability generally, but there were 2 to 4 secondary pore growth zones in each sag, which were the main reservoir spaces. The diagenesis, rock's compositions, sedimentary micro-facies and scale of sand bodies are the main influencing factors for the pores' growth.
