Application of logging evaluation methods for coalbed methane resources at deep depth

Abstract
It is the important approach that the coalbed methane is evaluated by using geophysical logging data.The paper generalizes the characteristics of logging responses of deep coal beds,and realizes the automatic identi-fication of coal beds,then presents the quantitative computing methods of parameters as coal components,porosity,permeability and gas content,etc.The practical application shows that the methods have good identification results and reliable computation,which provides dependable parameters for evaluation of coalbed methane resources.
