SEPARATION OF ORGANIC MACERAL AND PREPARATION OF POLISHED BLOCK FROM A FEW PARTICOLATE SAMPLES

Two vitrinites, one inertinite and five exinite submacerals have been isolated from seven coal samples; each of which in general has one characteristic maceral or submaceral. A new ZY-1 solutions was used to make up the desired densities. A simple and easy way to prepare polished surfaces from a few particulate sample is introduced and is useful to prepare kerogen polished block in oil system.
