  • The resisting capacity of different rocks to high pressure water intrusion and the water head loss during its intrusion were modeled and studied by a physical model. The relationships between the water head loss and water resistant rock, water pressure of aquifer were established. The maximum height of water intrusion in different water resistant rock and the residual water pressure in terminal intrusion point were given. The calculation method of water inrush coefficient from coal seam floor was given according to the experiment information. The results show that aquiclude of coal seam floor has obvious elimination to water head, and the actual water pressure exert-ing to the effective water resistant layer is lower than that of aquifer.
