THE SEDIMENTARY CHARACTERISTICS OF QIAOTAU SAND-STONE BODY AND ITS RELATION TO COAL-ACCUMULATION OF TAIYUAN FORMATION IN BAODE MINING

This present paper deal with the data about Taiyuan Formation(C₃) coal-bearing measures of Baode mining in Hedong coalfield (NW of China),based on,in the concrete, sedimentary characteristics of Qiaotau sandstone body (lithology,textures,sedimentary structures,paleocurrents and spatial geometry).And finally,the depositional environment of Qiaotau sandstone body and its erosional pattern on m₁₃ coal-seam (underlying).its special controlling m₁₁ coal-seam(above) has been determined. Equally, all analysis results was emphasized the synsedimentary tectono-geodynamic setting.
