RESEARCH OF FAILURE MECHANI SM OF TECTONITE SIDEWALL IN GAOCHENG COAL MINE

Based on intensive study of the engineering geological properties of tectonite weak seams, the stresses and strains of tectonite sidewalls are analysed and the radius of plastic deformation zone of the sidewall is calculated in accordance with the rock strength theory. The construction department can make reference to the results when designing the manner of anchor prop and depth of grouting hole.
