Application of high-precision 3D seismic exploration technology in Huainan mining area

  • Huainan Mining Group first introduced the full-digital high density 3D seismic exploration technology into the field of coalfield 3D seismic exploration in 2007, and has successfully promoted and applied it. As conventional seismic blocks were affected by mining collapse, they did not have the conditions for reconstruction of high density 3D seismic. In 2012, it began to perform secondary fine processing and interpretation of the original collected data of conventional 3D seismic blocks. Both high density 3D seismic exploration and secondary processing and interpretation of 3D seismic data have effectively improved the signal-to-noise ratio and horizontal and vertical resolution of seismic data, achieving the purpose of high-precision 3D seismic exploration. Through comparative analysis of a large number of uncovered data from coal mines, high density, fully digital 3D seismic exploration technology has significant effect in identifying small faults in coal mines, finding collapsed columns, and depicting limestone fissures. The secondary fine processing and interpretation of conventional 3D seismic data can significantly improve the imaging effect of the lower coal seams. High-precision 3D seismic exploration technology has broad prospects for popularization and application.
