Application of 3D seismic integrated interpretation technique in thin coal zone

  • In order to predict accurately the thickness change of 5th coal seam and the range of the thin coal zone in the first mining district of Yuandatan mine, the idea combining seismic exploration, well logging and geology was adopted. The conventional time profile, attribute analysis and wave impedance inversion were used. It was located that the area of the thin coal zone was 0.68 km2, achieving the expected effect.
