Uncertainty of three-dimensional geological model

  • The uncertainty of 3D geological model has an important impact on the correctness of the decision-making of mine production. Correctly analyzing the uncertainty of the geological model of a deposit can make a scientific assessment of itself and the decisions made on the basis of it. The uncertainty of the geological model mainly comes from the uncertainty of the modeling data and the modeling methods. Through the analysis of the generation and processing of modeling data, the uncertainty model was established by using the theory and method of uncertainty. By quantifying the theoretical error and the measured error generated by the interpolation method, the quantitative description of the uncertainty of the modeling method was realized. The uncertainty of the modeling data and the uncertainty of the modeling method were summed up to establish the uncertainty model of the deposit model. Taking the geological data of a coal mine in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region as a sample, a three-dimensional geological model of uncertainty deposit was established.
