Abstract
In Huainan coal mining area, long-term large-scale underground coal mining activities have caused severe ground subsidence, formed a large waterlogged area. In this paper, Guqiao and Panji waterlogged areas were chosen for analysis as two main representative types of waterlogged areas:closed and semi-closed. Comprehensive Trophic State Index method was adopted in this research to evaluate the water quality of the waterlogged areas using information from water samples and Hj-1 data. The results show that the waterlogged areas are of eutrophication and spatial-temporal differences of water quality are founded in different types of waterlogged areas. Generally, the trophic status in May is more serious than in November, and the trophic status in Guqiao is more serious than in Panji.
