  • Green coal is the embodiment of green mine construction in coal industry, which puts forward new requests and brings new development opportunities to coal geology work. The coal geology work runs through the whole process of green coal industry system, it can be decomposed into three tasks:mineral resources geology to search green coal resources and to realize green exploration; safe mining geology to provide reliable geological guarantee for green mining; processing and utilization geology to provide sufficient geological basis for the clean and efficient use of coal. This paper analyzes the characteristics of the demand for geological work in each stage of green coal, establishes the framework of basic geological works for green coal preliminarily, and puts forward the main contents of the basic geology work in each stage of green coal.
