Leaking stoppage method for formation with serious circulation loss of CBM wells in Niuchang block in Liupanshui

  • Leaking stoppage is the key technology of optimal and fast drilling and cost saving in CBM. Aiming at the circulation loss zone of the extensively vertical and horizontal water-bearing fractures in Niuchang block in Liupanshui, in combination with field leaking stoppage practice, the analysis of leakage failure and the study of plugging method have been carried out in formation with serious circulation loss, a set of integrated leaking stoppage method with throw-in composite plug plus cement paste has been formed, successfully stopping the serious circulation loss in the middle of Niuchang block. The results provide a new approach for leaking stoppage during drilling CBM wells in Guizhou, have significant application and promotion value.
