Design and implementation of LWDEWCM software

  • In order to realize the control of downhole logging tool in coal mine, a set of logging while drilling by electromagnetic wave wireless in coal mine(LWDEWCM) software was designed and implemented. The software includes two parts, the control software and the monitoring software. It has the functions of data acquisition, calculation of the trajectory deviation, calculation of the electromagnetic wave resistivity, judgement of the relationship between the drill bit and the floor/roof. MVC is used to design the system architecture of the software. The design process of each model was described, and C# language was used to complete the development of software. The practical application shows that the software is easy to operate and can realize the real-time monitoring and managing of the drilling site. The successful development of the software has filled the blank of coal mine LWD, enhanced ability and technical level of drilling and logging in Chinese coal mines.
