The analysis of the differences of acoustic emission during loading process based on the influence of bedding

  • In order to explore the effect of bedding on characteristics of acoustic emission during coal mining, the coal samples were collected in Sihe coal mine. The coal samples were made along the axial direction of the vertical stratification and parallel bedding direction, according to the requirements of making the coal samples. With RMT-150B rock mechanics test system and CDAE-1 all-digital acoustic emission detection and analysis system, the samples were tested for stress-strain-acoustic emission during loading. The test results showed that the coal samples of axial vertical stratification had high rock mechanics strength and acoustic emission intensity. The acoustic emission features were strong respectively and hysteresis quality. The difference of acoustic emission characteristics in the loading process reflected that the axial vertical stratification of coal samples were given priority to the overall deformation and destruction. The axial parallel bedding coal samples were given priority to local deformation and destruction. This provides guidance for monitoring and forecasting of coal mine dynamic disaster.
