Control of dynamic disasters induced by strong mine pressure in Huating Mine

  • Increased mining depth in complicated geological conditions is very easy to induce dynamic disaster due to strong mine pressure. According to caving working face NO.250102 and its roadways in Huating Mine, SOS microseismic monitoring system was applied to collect the precursory information of dynamic disaster induced by strong pressure during the advance of the working face. Dangerous zones and distribution rule of strong pressure at 3 kinds (R, O, Y) of level were analyzed and determined. It is dedicated that the dangerous zone ranks from open-off cutting to 400 m, and especially at the 20 m pillar side. Through the complicated analysis above, the multi-measures including advanced deep hole blasting and side-coal pressure relief blasting and roof seam infusion were applied to reduce and eliminate the huge disaster caused by strong pressure. Thus, this can make a great contribution to the safety of the underground workers.
