Abstract
Duijiangnan Coal Mine is located at the west of Zhina Coal Field, Guizhou Province. Coal seams in this area present the characteristics of thin thickness and multi-seam group. Based on the gas content test, injection/falloff well test, coal structure frequency statistics of boreholes, the gas bearing property, permeability, reservoir pressure and in-situ stress, etc, were systematically studied. The CBM resources extent was estimated with volume method, the recoverability and CBM resource development potential were evaluated preliminarily. Results showed that the gas content from Duijiangnan Coal Mine is high with good preservation condition, the CBM resources are of relatively large amount and high density. The texture of coal that experienced tectonism is mainly cataclastic with natural fracture network, the permeability of coal can be enhanced by hydraulic fracturing, and the CBM resources present relatively good drainage potential.
