Three-stage model of cement-waterglass grouting and its engineering application

  • Based on the practice of cement-waterglass grouting engineering, three-stage model of cement- waterglass grouting for residual soil was established in this paper, and the appropriate formulas for those stages were analyzed. The three stages are the primary strengthening stage, the radial compacting stage, the pile-forming and jacking stage. After that, the strengthening mechanism of cement-waterglass grouting was also elaborated. At last, combined with the monitoring data of a specific cement-waterglass grouting project, the grouting process was analyzed. The result shows that the grouting process shows little difference from the three-stage model established in this paper.
