  • Prediction of water filling risk in coalmine is an important task for water hazard control. Through the study of hydrogeological conditions in Jinjie mine, the development characteristics of aquifer(aquifuge) and its relationship with four spatial combinations of the coal seams are summarized. the analysis shows that the weathered bedrock fracture aquifer of Zhiluo Formation is the main water filling source, and the water filling channel is the permeable fracture zone after the coal seam is mined out. The development height of water-conducting zone is calculated and verified. According to water resisting property criterion of the aquifuge under the mining conditions, the possible water-filling section and the water filling risk induced by the destruction of the surface loose sand layer and the weathered bedrock aquifer after mining seam 3-1 were predicted. The research results have an important guiding value for mine water prevention.
