Freezing characteristics of deep and thick calcareous clay layer and numerical simulation of freezing temperature field

  • In order to solve the difficult problems occurring duting digging and lining a shaft in deep and thick calcareous clay layer in Yangcun mine, the paper analyzed the problems encountered during shaft construction, simulated the distribution regularities of the temperature field in the calcareous layer by using ANSYS finite element software, refined the range of thermal conductivity coefficient, and made the calculation results close to the data of the hole for temperature measurement. The results show that enhancing freezing technology and adopting digging and lining of short interval are efficient measures for safe construction of shaft in calcareous layer, have reference value for future shaft construction in the layer.
