  • A formula of the make-up torque of S71 diamond wireline coring drill pipe joints was established after the analysis of its structural parameters. The finite element analysis method about the make-up torque of the drill pipe joints with ANSYS was put forward. And the results were consistent with the actual situation, so it could be used in parameter optimization and the proper make-up torque calculation of the drill pipe joint thread.
