The design and survey analysis of a PED loop antenna

In consideration of the problem that the communication through earth has great wastage to the high frequency electromagnetic waves and great interference to the low frequency electromagnetic waves, and great influence of the earth parameters on electromagnetic waves communication through the earth, and according to the characteristics of the intermediate frequency electromagnetic waves in the earth and the loop antenna applicability to intermediate frequency waves, the paper designed intermediate frequency loop antenna working at 500 kHz as the PED loop antenna to communicate through earth, and achieved the expected goal through measuring its parameters and the experimental verification.
