Technique of water inflow control of full shaft section of constructed vertical shaft

  • On the basis of analysis of the cause of several water bursts during construction of Wangfenggang auxiliary shaft of Huainan Mining Group Corp, in combination of the hydrogeological conditions and field environmental conditions, by adopting directional branch holes and using downward small section high and low-pressure repeated grouting, a water-blocking curtain was successfully formed around the constructed shaft, resolving the water burst problem from highly aquiferous "red layer".The method used during hole making for keeping stability of hole wall and treating leakage in the fault zone and cavity area behind the shaft has reference significance for similar engineering in the future.
