Abstract
The Wolong coalmine is one of mines seriously influenced by magmatic intrusions in Huaibei mining area, China, in which several coal beds were intruded into by the magma, which affects regular production of coalmines.Because the geological structures are vital factors controlling the regularities of magmatic intrusions and the distribution of igneous rocks, the tectonic stresses field and geological structures formed before geological time of magmatic intrusions were thoroughly investigated. And then the effects of geological structures controlling the magma intrusion into coal seams were gradually analyzed in the study area from geotectonics to mine structures. Finally, the regularities of magmatic activities were illustrated. The analysis results indicated that the direction of magmatic intrusion was controlled by the NNE-trending faults (F7 and F5), and the channels of magmatic intrusions were faults F7, F5 and F15 that was intersected by fault F5 besides.
