A drilling parameter detection method based on hydraulic top-driving rig

Aiming at the delayed development of drilling parameter detector for long range drilling rigs, the paper put forward a drilling parameter detection method suitable to drilling by hydraulic top-driving rig, described the detection mechanism of the main drilling parameters such as tool weight, weigh on bit, power, torque, hole depth, penetrating rate and flow.Based on the method, a set of drilling parameter detection system for hydraulic top-driving rig has been developed.The results of field application showed that the proposed detection method is feasible.
