Method on well pattern arrangement of coalbed methane(CBM) development in coalmine area

According to the analysis of status on CBM development in China, method on well pattern arrangement of CBM development in coalmine area is studied. The arrangement of well pattern is controlled by plan and design of coal mining. Based on the plan and design of coal mining and the geological conditions of Jincheng coal mine area, the principles of CBM development in coalmine area are analyzed, and the well pattern arrangement is designed, and potential of CBM development and effect of gas control are studied. The format of CBM well is changed by influence of coal excavation, the recovery of CBM resource is about 27.17%~51.99% when the wells as surface vertical wells produce for 10 years. Afterward, gob well and gas extraction on ground are more effective for gas control.
