Abstract
The generalized S transform is a relatively new time-frequency analysis method for non-stationary signal, which has the following characteristics and advantages:S transform inverse transform and Fourier transform are directly linked to ensure that it is the non-destructive transform; linear transform ensures that there is no cross-terms; time-frequency resolution and the signal frequency-related; basic wavelet does not have to meet the permitted conditions; scale makes the generalized S transform have good aggregation ability for frequency. This paper uses this method for stratigraphic absorption-compensation based on these characteristics and advantages.Through the processing of stratigraphic absorption-compensation for actual two-dimensional poststack seismic data, results show that this method can do well on absorption-compensation, improve the resolution of seismic reflection without the Q value of the Strata.
