The method of synthesizing surface-wave seismogram based on dispersion curves

  • Accurately calculating dispersion curve in Rayleigh wave exploration is an important step.It is vital to test the correctness and stability of various methods on calculating dispersion curve.This paper, based on disper-sion curve, derives the theory formula of synthesizing single shot surface-wave seismogram, which selects sam-pling pulse signal as a wavelet, and surface-wave seismograms for dispersion curves of several elastic layered me-dia are sythesised by the formula.It is sufficiently proved that the synthetic method is correct by wave field char-acteristic contrast, frequency spectrum analysis, and inversely calculated their dispersion curves by frequency-wave number analysis method, so this method provides a new theoretical principle and means to evaluate other methods of extracting dispersion curve.
