Development and prospect of coal deposit hydrogeology

  • Coal deposit hydrogeology is an applied geological subject on groundwater activity conditions and preventing disadvantage influence on mining as well as protecting ecological environment. It is important role in guiding coal mine safety production.Recently,it has some important advances, such as,coal mining technology based on groundwater resources protection, technology system of groundwater hazards controlling for coal field in northern China, development conditions and treatment technology of karst collapse columns, reliability technology of aquifer grouting reconstruction for coal floor to prevent water inrush.Problems being solved in the course of subject development have been put forward, such as,detection of goaf water and karst collapse columns,water-filling conditions variables,real-time evaluation and design of coal mine groundwater disturbance, etc. With extending of mining intensity and scale, priority support study fields are as follows, water inrush mechanism caused by high rockmass stress, high rockmass temperature, high groundwater pressure, mechanism of water and sand inrush in western China, water resources capacity and storage technology, mine water resources regeneration and reasonable utilization, development height of collapse and fractured zone with fully-mechanized top coal caving.Safeguard measures of subject being healthily developed have been brought forward from viewpoint of manpower and intelligence resources collocation, solving key technical problems and new technique application.
