Development of the well bottom electricity-driven percussive and rotating drill tool

  • To overcome limitation in traditional hydro and air-driven impactor,this paper introduced the development about the well bottom electricity-driven percussive and rotating drill tool based on the working principle of line electromotor.The tool includes well bottom electricity-driven impactor,motor driver,power battery.Motor driver receives commands from the surface,and then controls frequency and wallop of the electricity-driven impactor,consequently,fits different strata without lifting the drill pipe.The field experiment shows that the tool has high operability,reliability and drilling efficiency.
