  • The foundational theory about HHT(Hilbert-Huang Transform) based on EMD(empirical mode decomposition) is introduced in brief.The stop condition of EMD on the rear GPR data is discussed.The formula of calculating instantaneous frequency using IMF(intrinsic mode function) is presented.The identification of real buried object results shows that the IMF method is superior to the ordinary method.The multi-resolution of IMF is analyzed.
