Rayleigh wave detection technology used in in-advance geological detection

  • Coal measures in Hegang mining area have been transformed by multiple tectonic movements and geological situation is complicated.In order to meet the requirements of production operation,Rayleigh wave detection technology was used in accurate detection and forecasting of geological situation.In underground coal mines,Rayleigh wave method was used to detect lower coal seam and structures ahead roadways and produced satisfactory results.The method has really enhanced the accuracy of geological forecasting and shows good prospective for its application in coal mines.
