Collaborative management control theory and key technologies for groundwater protection, governance and utilization in coal mining area

  • Background and Methods  In view of the contradiction between coal and water caused by the distribution characteristics of‘rich coal and less water’ of coal resources and water resources in China, a collaborative management and control scheme for groundwater protection and utilization in coal mining area was systematically proposed. From the theoretical level, the response propagation chain of coal mining to groundwater disturbance and engineering intervention in groundwater system is studied. The core idea, scientific connotation and technical framework of collaborative management and control of groundwater conservation and treatment are explained. The key technologies of collaborative management control of groundwater protection; governance and utilization in coal mining area are discussed.
    Result and conclusions  Based on accurate prediction and accurate monitoring, a technical system covering three aspects of combination of treatment and protection, combination of treatment and utilization, and allocation of protection and utilization was established. Nine key technologies of collaborative management control were summarized: prediction and monitoring technology of mining hydrogeological conditions, curtain closure technology of underground continuous wall in shallow buried area, lateral curtain closure technology of medium and deep buried borehole grouting, Area preact grouting technology for coal seam floor aquifer, control and drainage technology of coal seam roof aquifer, combination technology of mine water drainage and supply, mine water level classification treatment technology, mine water quality utilization technology, mine water resources evaluation and optimal allocation technology. The dual constraint objectives of " ensuring safety " and " protecting water resources " in coal mining under the premise of water conservation are comprehensively realized. A collaborative management and control platform for groundwater conservation in coal mining area was built. Combined with the system hardware such as dynamic monitoring of mining disturbance roof and floor failure process, dynamic monitoring of mine water inflow and water quality, the whole process closed-loop management and control of groundwater in mining area from source protection, monitoring and early warning, prevention and control to resource utilization was realized. It provides technical carrier and practical support for the collaborative management and control of groundwater in mining area, and further verifies that the system theory has good practical significance. The research results are of great significance to solve the contradiction between coal and water in China 's coal mining areas and support the safe, efficient and green development of coal resources.
