  • This paper summarizes general anatomical features of such different nutritional organs as roots,stems and leaves on the basis of having systematically dissected different genera and species of mangroves,and discusses the relationship between the anatomical structure of mangroves and their ecological adaption.Finally,authors point out the significance of the study of anatomical and ecological characteristics of present mangroves for paleobotany and coal sedimentology.
