Factors influencing middle Jurassic coal-bearing property in Pingshanhu area

In order to know middle Jurassics coal-bearing property, by research of coal-bearing properties, stratum thickness, coal-bearing strata thickness and distribution patterns, we analyzed structural, sedimentary environment and material supply and so on. The results showed that middle Jurassics coal-bearing property of central and southern area is good, however, became worse gradually around. Coal-bearing strata had a banding distribution along the northwest direction; The change of coal-bearing strata thickness is little along strike (northwest-southeast), and it get thinner along dip. The distribution of middle Jurassic coal-bearing strata was determined by structural form of the two uplift zones and three depression zones as well as fan delta sedimentary environments; The supply of classic materials was of positive correlation with the strata thickness. Both of them affected the vertical development state of the middle Jurassic coal-bearing strata.
