STUDY ON THE THRUST SYSTEM WITH REMOTE SENSING TECHNIQUES IN HELANSHAN DISTRICT

  • 摘要: 在前人资料的基础上,通过对典型地质体的反射波谱测试,TM图象解译及野外调查,建立了推覆构造的影象解译标志,认为该区为一双冲推覆构造体系,推覆面积不小于8000km~2,推覆距离至少50km。这一新认识对于该区煤田预测有重要意义。

     

    Abstract: The reflective spectral values of the major geologic bodies in Helanshan District were measured, the TM false color images were interpreted and a field investigation was made. Then the interpretation keys of thrust system on the TM images were set up. As a result of above the author considers that in the study area occurs a the range of the duplex isn’t less than 8000 km2, and the thrusted distance is more than 50 km. This new conclusion will be of great geologic significance for the exploration of coal fields.
