THE EVOLUTION OF DEVONIAN COAL ACCUMULATION IN CHINA

  • 摘要: 泥盆纪是中国聚煤期之一。它标志着晚古生代聚煤作用开始,并不断发展,到石炭二叠纪达到高峰,导致中国重要聚煤期的出现。华南泥盆纪沉积十分发育,其聚煤作用受地壳运动和海水进退的控制,显示了从西南到东北规律性的迁移。泥盆纪煤层是滨海或浅海环境的产物,某些煤含有多量的角质层物质,故称为角质残植煤,这与沉积环境及原始成煤质料有密切关系。

     

    Abstract: Devonian is one of several coal-forming periods in China.The Coal accumulation in Devonian marked the beginning of that in late palaeozoic,which became active or even reached the climax in Permo-Carboniferous age,consisting an important period of coal accumulation in China.The Devonian deposits are well developed in South China,The coal accumulation in Devonian was controlled by the tectonic movements and the marine transgression and regression,showing a reguler migration from southwest northeast.The coal seams in Devonian were the products of littoral or neritic environment,rather than a continental environment.Some Devonian coal seams contain a great deal of cuticles,hence they are called cutinitic liptobiolith.It was intimately related to the depositional environment and to the primitive coal-forming materials.
