Abstract: Based on the systematic analysis of Chinese coal geology theory and technological innovation in recent years, combined with the practice of exploration engineering, the working thought of coal comprehensive exploration was established the definition of comprehensive exploration mode was enriched, including the coordinated exploration of coal and coalbed methane and other co-associated resources, at the same time the green and safe development of coal mines has been ensured. The principle and process of establishing the comprehensive model of coal exploration were proposed. Through the analysis and summarization of the exploration process of a deep-new developed area, the comprehensive exploration model has been refined, which mainly analyzes the comprehensive application, orderly construction and fine control of the exploration techniques.
